How to set up your email on Outlook

  1. Open your browser (Google Chrome, MicroSoft Edge or Firefox).
  2. Go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ it will direct you to the login page: 

    Click Next, enter your password and click on Sign in

  3. If asked for the authenticator app, click on download app, you will be taken to a screen like this:
  • If you use an Android (Samsung) Phone, download the app here
  • If you use an iPhone, download the app here
  • Download the app on your phone, then go back to outlook.
  • Once back in outlook, click next
  • Thereafter, it will ask you whether you want to sign in or scan QR code, choose to scan QR code.
  • On your phone, open the authenticator app, select the + icon on the top right, select ‘add work or school account’ then scan QR code
  • Scan the QR code displayed on your laptop. Thereafter you will be asked to type the number on screen in your phone
  • Finally, your email will be logged in
